The museum, the largest museum in the world devoted to a single civilization, will showcase over 100,000 artifacts, including the complete contents of King Tutankhamun’s tomb.

March 28: a third daily flight added between Newark and Tel Aviv
April 30: new service between Newark and Split, Croatia
May 1: new service between Newark and Bari, Italy
May 8: new service between Newark and Glasgow, Scotland
May 21: daily service debuts between Washington Dulles and Reykjavik, Iceland
May 22: new service between Newark and Santiago de Compostela, Spain

By Tony CassanoNorfolk will receive a new cruise ship in 2027. Carnival Cruise Line announced this week that it will be replacing the old Norfolk-based Carnival SUNSHINE with the 2,974 passenger Carnival FREEDOM starting in May 2027. The FREEDOM will sail from Norfolk to the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Caribbean and Canada. Meanwhile, NCL’s Norwegian PEARL will call on Norfolk 20 times during the 2027 season between April and August. The PEARL will sail out of Philadelphia for Bermuda.
