Hop On - Hop Off Bus. Julia and Ian will discover the historical beauty of Stockholm with their indispensable Stockholm Pass. The Pass will allow them to enjoy unlimited travel on hop-on hop-off buses and boats and gain free entry to more than 60 top attractions, including the Nobel Museum, Drottingham Palace, SkyView and Storkyrkan Cathedral, plus another 15 sightseeing tours by boat or bus.
Our Lovebird Foodies will sample the best of Stockholm’s cuisine on this 4-hour walking tour. With a local food-expert guide and an intimate group of 12 people, Julia and Ian will learn about the evolution of Swedish cuisine from traditional smoked reindeer to the cosmopolitan city’s contemporary cuisine. They’ll taste fresh local seafood, sip some decadent hot chocolate. dig in a modern version of Swedish meatballs and sample a traditional Swedish fika, or after-dinner coffee and treat combination. During their tour Julia and Ian will stop by Õstermalms Saluhall, the city’s oldest food market, as well as K25, a modern urban food court.
Julia and Ian will be set free to cycle around Stockholm and several islands in the nearby archipelago during this 3-hour bike tour. They’ll depart from the bike shop in central Stockholm, pedal their way through modern city streets and over the cobblestones of Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s old town, pass the Royal Palace, City Hall and ride over to Djurgården, as well as the trendy island of Södermalm and other important locations. All the while, Julia and Ian will be able to listen to their local cycling guide’s engaging commentary while they ride, covering a good amount of ground in a short time.
Julia and Ian with experience the rich culinary culture of Helsinki during an appetizing 2-hour small-group food walking tour of the vibrant Finnish capital. With an expert gastronome guide, they’ll discover hidden foodie hotspots, sample a selection of local delicacies and gain valuable insight into the culinary traditions and history of Helsinki while they explore this spectacular city.HELSINKI SIGHTSEEING CANAL CRUISE– June 3 or 4
There is no better way to admire Helsinki and her islands than from. Julia and Ian hop aboard a comfortable sightseeing boat, settle on deck or inside the cozy cabin, and absorb the key sights of Helsinki’s shorelines and surrounding archipelagos of beautiful islands on this 1.5 hour tour. They’ll cruise by top Helsinki attractions such as the mighty UNESCO-listed Suomenlinna Maritime Fortress; see Finland’s fleet of gigantic icebreaker ships; sail into the scenic Degerö Canal, and hear all about Helsinki’s eventful past from the informative onboard commentary.
