According to our embassy in Paris: “The French Health pass requirements remain in effect for entrance to many locations in France, including museums, monuments, dining establishments, entertainment establishments, long distance transportation and some large shopping centers.”
For American tourists, a French Health Pass can be requested prior to visiting France if the traveler has been vaccinated with an EU approved vaccinate and is 18 years of age and older.
According to the French Health Ministry, in order to be eligible to obtain the French health pass, applicants must provide the following documents by e-mail in PDF, JPG, or PNG format:
A vaccination certificate that has been issued in line with the rules of the applicant’s residency country; the certificate must indicate full vaccination with an EMA-approved vaccine
Once the application has been received and processed by the French authorities, a QR code will be sent by e-mail. The code, which will have no expiration date, can either be printed out and present in digital or paper format.
